Denise Benda, pianist, pedagogue and artistic director of the „Int. Berengaria Chamber Music festival“, Cyprus. Performances worldwide in major venues as recitalist, vocal accompanist and chamber musician in miscellaneous formations, she is frequently invited to participate at international music festivals. Teaching at the Konservatorium Wien University, Austria, she also gives master-classes in Europe and Asia specially addressed to the young people. Her versatile recording activity for Radios and TVs as well as CDs with both chamber music and pieces for piano and orchestra complete the picture of the artist.
Nancy Benda, violinist and violist is an active soloist, chamber musician and professor of Violin and Chamber Music at the Conservatoire de Fribourg (Switzerland). Laureate at several international competitions in Europe and South America, she also writes articles about the techniques of bow instruments. The study of the viola repertoire came naturally as the chamber music plays a central role in her musical vision. An astonishing adaptation permits the use of both instruments within the same program . The numerous concerts, Master Classes and regular festivals appearances completes her intense artistic activity. |
