The pedagogical activity is an integral part of their activities being divided with the concert activities as a Duo as well as individuals. Their pedagogical experience started within the family's Music School and was pursued with high level academic studies and research focused on the pedagogical aspects applied to music. Both, Nancy and Denise, are confirmed music professors. The Duo proposes seminars covering particular aspects of the chamber music repertoire as well as introductive courses for schools and groups. Often, the Duo offers thematic Masters classes and their participation in festivals is an integral part of the Duo activities. This pedagogical activity preserves an ancient familiar tradition integrating at the same time the modern and efficient pedagogical approaches. Articles are proposed to the specialized press covering various fields of the musical execution and technique. A CD, specially designed for Music Schools, with introductive pieces for the Duo repertoire is foreseen in the next future. |
